Mend Vauxhall Corsa Engine Wont Start

Corsa comfort wont start?

until recently driving ok but I think I overfilled with oil not smoking out exhaust drove fine then just cut out tried to restart it AA could not fix and independent electrical specialist thinks it could be chain on engine needs replacing how much is reasonable quote have been told £350 all in at present
