has anyone had the window motors go on fire on their Megane? ?

I had to pay 25% to get my car fixed. Was your 25% returned + the £100. All I got told was I could have some smelly stuff to get rid of burning smell, but I had to find the product myself!!

I have a 07 Megane CC. Last week wife complained of electrical smell in car. I strippped rear ns door trim out and the connector at the bottom of the motor was completely melted with evidence if burning up the side of motor. Took car to Dealers. They mentioned 75% issue but said they would contact Renault. I understand 75% for a dodgy part (thats the mark up Renault have on parts any way so it costs them nothing) but this could have been more serious. Car still in Garage awaiting resolution.
