lcd samsung LE40M87BDX?

TV 3 years old. Had to pay to replace capacitors when approx 15months as the retailer and samsung refused to help ( TV starting clicking for anything up to an hour before turning on ) I now have several large black patches showing on the screen and wonder whether it is worth having it repaired
