how do I get the bonnet open on my Renault Megane?

When I pull the inside catch, the bonnet will not lift far enough to get it open.

Actually you just need to feel inside by the catch and push a lever either to the left or right to release a hook that stops it flying up in the event of the bonnet release lever been pulled by accident when driving.
