Soap/detergent dispenser Indesit DE73?

Hello
I have removed the four screws that secure the control panel at the front of the Dishwasher. As the fault code A13 indicates a fault with the soap dispenser. This is not electrical because I can see a metal lever that should be attached to the plastic lever mechanism which activates the door on the dispenser, but this lever is not located to anything. Does anyone have a diagram or advice on how I can acquire further information on this mechanism which should activate the door on the dispenser.
