Diplomat ADP8352 Dishwasher?

I have a diplomat dishwasher, when I start the cycle water goes in and it heats etc but after about 10mins approx the machine beeps, all lights flash then go off as if cycle has finished. When I open the machine the dishwasher tablet compartment hasn't opened, could this be confusing the dishwasher programme and how can I fix it?
