Bosch Classixx 1000 - Machine gets to "Active" then stops?

I have just had the brushes changed on this machine as it would not spin. Since then when you switch it on, the machine says "Ready" fills up with water and then says "Active" and then it stops and goes back to "Ready" any suggestions please
