Mend George Work Switches Button

whats this noise?

i tried the george carpet cleaner at work, it switches on but when i turn on the button to spray the water, the motor makes a bad noise and no water comes out.

Noise is probably the pump. It will be noisy when it's on with no water running through it. Should imagine tiny piece of fluff or something has got into pump and blocking it. Pump will need stripping down to clear. Best taking it to vac repair shop and get them to check it out.
