what is wrong with hotpoint aquarius condensor dryer tcl770?

after running my hotpoint aquarius condensor dryer for about 30 mins all the lights on the front start flashing all at the same time then it won't turn off at the button and i have to switch off at the mains. 30 mins later it works normally again then plays up after about another 30 mins. any ideas?
