my car wont start?

Here we go, the thicko planks are about, must be the weekend. Questions with no info, yet again.

And we need more detail. What happens when you turn the key,
Nothing at all?
Dash lights come on but starter does not turn - do the dash lights dim when key is at starter position, can you hear clicking?
Starter spins but is it engaging, is the auxiliary belt turning, is the cam belt/chain turning?
Is the engine spinning faster/slower than normal?
Was it running ok prior to this?
Is the EML flashing?
Impossible to answer this question without full information.
