just installed new mixer tap . now no hot water ?

just installed a mixer tap in the kitchen. i have some how got a air lock in the hot pipe work . the old hold ur hand over the tap trick aint guna work because i have installed single check valves under the tap on both hot and cold feed . any suggestions on how i can shift the air lock ?
