My citroen C3 headlights suddenly decide to switch themselves on all by themselves sometimes while I am driving. After a stop for shopping, they may decide to behave themselves and stay off, Why??? please
they have a rain sensor and a dusk sensor,one turns your wipers on when it rains,the other puts your lights on when light levels drop.i.e.night time or going through a tunnel

Most newer cars do this it is supposed to,wife thinks it's great cause shes lazy.it means your lights will come on in poor weather or when you go through a tunnel incase you have forgotten to put them on,your wipers may come on when it i raining by tmemselves as well.
