Unable to turn on Samsung L83t?

My camera was lying up for about 6 months,
the other day i turned it on and the display
said, turn off and turn on again, i did this a
few times and same message came up, so
i decided to charge the camera, after a few
hours, i disconnect the charge and turned
the camera on again, the same message
appeared, Turn off the camera and turn
on again, i am unable to use it, can you
please advise if possible, Thanks Niall
