Mend Vax V-026pt Motor Repair Parts

My Vax V-026pt stopped working?

My Vax V-026pt stopped working, making funny noise, I stripped down housing & motor is not turning, Can you tell me is it definatley a new motor I need or a new pump? Do I need any other new parts?

Sounds like the motor to me. When you say 'motor not turning' do you mean by hand? If so could be a motor bearing siezed. What kind of noise was it making? It's best to get it checked out by a service engineer anyway to be certain of fault.
