How can I fix my 16 inch LCD TV ?

I have this TV it has no major brand on it just says LCD TV on it.

When I plug it in a blue light appears on the lower section of the TV but nothing else happens.

Some one said I may need a new part but im not sure what.

Since its not a commercial brand like Sony or Panasonic its hard to find much related to it online, maybe il sell it on eBay

Do you have a model number for the set?
This is usually written on the back.

It might be beter to write a description of what it says on the back of the set.
I don't mean voltages or serial numbers but it might say EXAMPLE ONLY MODEL: SX16SC2A made in Hungary
