Mend NY ECR-238 Program Cash Register

How can I program ny ecr-238 to include tax in the price?

How can I program ny ecr-238 to include tax in the price? My cash register included the tax in the price but it was calculated at 7%. I tried to change it to 5% but it is now adding the tax on items which is a no-no considering that tax is included in prices----HELP!!

The Sanyo registers are good machines, but rare now, so I don't have the manual for it. The only way I can help is if I have the settings. Do you have the manual in PDF format, or able to scan it? I can help if I can get settings.
