what size battery ?

I have a used proform treadmill, and I love it but the battery connector part is missing so I was wanting to repair that part so i can actually see the digital readout on my MPH Calories burned Etc. can anyone tell me if it is suppose to befor a 9 volt battery or for 2 AA's.????????
