diesel filter on vectra 2.0l dti?

some vauxhalls have a priming pump (there should be 2 pipes from the fuel filter follow these pipes and see if 1 of them leads to a hand pump) pump into the pump feels solid. turn engine over for a few seconds then pump again. keep going until it starts. once started keep engine revs at approx 2,000 revs for 30 seconds to get the air out of the system. and leave ticking over at idle for 10mins.
If it does not have a pump you will have to fill up the filter with fresh diesel, and keep repeating until it will start
