The last few weeks my television and been coming on by itself during the day and through the night. I switch it off and 50/60 mins later it comes back on.
Also when switching the tv on from standby mode the tv on light flashes for 30 to 60 minutes before the tv actually comes on.
The TV is 2.1/2 yrs old
Anybody out there with this problem or cure
If you find out the problem please let me know as ours is doing exactly the same thing. I think its a fault with this model

Thanks for the information - got no where with Samsung so sent it into Samsung repair center today so I am awaiting there verdict. but thanks for answering

it sound to me like the power board is faulty ,when this happens it gives false power readings and does the kind of things you saying,will kost about 60 pounds for the part look on ebay
