Mend Samsung UN40D6000 TV No Picture

Samsung 40inch T V?

I have a Samsung 40inch t v .It keeps on clicking on and off ,no picture .It clicks and just as it seems it is going to come on it clicks off this goes on for Hours .Help

same problem just clicks for hours ,then occasionly get picture,then turns off and then back on ,ican only think its a very common problem it is still worth contacting samsung even if out of warranty for a free repair on the grounds off initial cost of the tv and age.

I had exactly the same problem, TV is 3 years old. Rang Samsung two days ago and the engineers came today and replaced the whole curcuit board with the capacitors on it free of charge. Call 01932 454358.

I took my tv to samsung service centre and found that the capacitators were at fault - although tv out of warranty these are being repaired free of charge after a few phone calls to samsung

I have a samsung le40a656a1f 40" which is giving me much the same problems but mine on light flashes upto between 30 and 60 minutes before tv comes on. Also tv comes on on its own all hours of the day and night.
I would be interested in the model no. of your tv and its age - mine is 2.1/2 years - so joy with samsung
