Why does my vacuum cleaner keep blowing a fuse when I switch it on?

My vacuum cleaner instatntly blows a fuse when I switch it on.

you have a short circut in the lead to the motor or short in the field of motor its self [look at the cord see if it looks burnt ]some where on cord if you find burn cut cord between motor and cord [ remove burnt part ]fit new plug also check plug for melting on terminals if melted fit new plug
