Mend Jaguar X type Boot Lock Lid

How can I change boot lock on 2004 Jaguar X type soloon?

The boot lid is refusing to close on my 2004 X type saloon,
I suspect the whole lock/housing may need to be replaced -
does anyone out there have experience of changing the lock
- and how hard/easy is it to do ?
