Mend Mazda MX-5 Knocking Noise Engine

knocking noise when motoring?

i get a knocking noise that seems to be coming from under the bonnet when the car is in motion, when the car is stationary i can rev the engine and there is no noise at all, also the electric window on the offside has started to whine has though i have a electic problem, could the two be conected, the car is a mazda mx 5 2002 1600 model
