Mend JVC TD-W217 Problem Playing Model

how can i fix this problem?

While a tape is playing, it will all of a sudden start making this squeaking noise.
It is a JVC model TD W217

Most likely it has eaten a tape before. You need to take it apart and look at the gears & wheels that the tape runs through. Look for pieces of tape tangled around these gears or wheels and remove them. If there was pieces tangled in there then that was the problem. Hope this helps you
