I keep getting error code E3 on my Kenwood dishwasher KDW12SL3A?

I have gotten this error message about 6-months previously, replaced the heating element and now it's showing the E3 error again. I never use my dishwasher more than 3 or 4 times a week and don't feel like I should have to keep paying for a heating element. Is there something else I can check out or is it a false error message?
