where is swich located?

the switch for the reverse light s on a vectra which is located on the gearbox at the engine end is this inside the car or outside

Vectra Vehicles, Cars Light Vectra Engine

the gear box is norm on the outside of the car,:-)
the reverse switch is screwed to the side of it.
