How do you change the price on a er-4900?

Hello I trying to change some pricing on Er-4900 samsung register and I'm not able to finish the sequence that it asks. It says to press 1600 then press subttl then the desired desriptor(40) then press P/O. Everything works fine until I press the P/O button which starts beep at me. Is there another way to finish this process?

Hi. 1600 is the code for changing the name of function keys. It sounds like you have the wrong manual.
