my hotpoint tcm570 still continues to work when door is open?

ive had to take tumble apart as it was tripping the electrics not sure what i done to rectify this but then the drum was not intializing ive left it to search the net and i just plugged it in to listen what noise it was making and it started to my amazment but now when i open the door it dont stop
