Where should the pump go on my rayburn 355 for the cental heating ?

I am in the process of plumbing in my rayburn 355 SFW. Have followed the diagrams to the letter, but when I have filled up with water and switched the pump on , it's sending water through to the expansion tank. Any ideas about what I may have done wrong? My pump is positioned on the heating return pipe at the side of the rayburn before the interjector tee junction. Would it be better on the hot heating take off pipe ? Any advise greatly appreciated . thanks.

i'm not sure what you mean by interjector tee if this is the inlet feed from the header tank then it should be behind the pump the c/heating pipes should be 22mm from boiler until they split to go upstairs, downstairs also with gravity h/water the c/heating always affects the performance of the h/water normally the boiler is run on gravity for approx. 30 mins to get cylinder hot then when c/heating is on there will be enough heat to keep cylinder hot but if you use the h/water you may have to turn c/heating off again to replenish h/water

Thanks Brian, the pump is fixed in a vertical position and the arrow faces downwards, ie the flow back to the boiler, could it be too close to the boiler and interjector tee, it's about a foot between the pump and the boiler ( six inch down, six inch across). It seems to be affecting the gravity fed hot water pipes. Are my CH pipes to small at 15mm?

there's an arrow on the pump this should point to the boiler also pump speed should be on 1 or 2
