Standard back door (PVC) lets in terrible draft at the bottom and down the handle side. Bought from B&Q and fitted by handyman who will not come back to fix it.
Can we fix it ourselves ?
Thanks very much
Just check where exactly the draught is coming in Doreen.
Is it between the door and frame, or is it between the frame and the wall.
Ours was draughty at the bottom, it turned out the door was ok, it was a gap between the base of the frame and the floor. I used a can of expanding foam and sealed the gap from the outside.

firstly if you have a spirit level preferably a good quality one check that it is level at the bottom and perfectly plumb on the sides.if not then that will be part of your problem also with the door in the locked position get a pencil and mark the sash where it meets the frame when you open the door look to see where the pencil mark are you should have 8mm of cover all the way round where the sash meets the frame. there is some adjustment on the hinges depending on what type they are but it sounds to me like your handyman hasn't got much experience in fitting upvc doors.only other thing is to ring your local double glazing company and see if they will come out and have a look at it for you.if it has been fitted correctly ie level and plumb it should take no more than an hour to rack the door and adjust the hinges
