cannon pearl duo model 10243G?

when i am using the grill there is a strange smell and the tiles on the wall behind the cooker get asooty deposit on them.

i've noticed that, as well as the normal blue flame, there is long bright yellow flame that was not there before.

can anybody help with this problem?
