Mend Vauxhall Zafira Car Showing

vauxhall zafira 2.2 sri 2006? petrol?

My car is showing the car and spanner sign and the inspection sign when ignition is on. On starting the car the signs go off but it noisy when starting for about a minute or so, when it is idling it sounds like a diesel. Is this serious can anyone advice me. Plus the washer pump not working.
