lg model # wm2277hs?

after you start the washer it will wash and drain but as soom as it is ready to spin out it won't and i get a le or lu code. now i can directly take it to the spin mode and it will perform very well. today i watched it very closely and even after it spun out I removed the clothes and found there was still water in the botom of the drum. my question is can this be a bad timer, bad sensor or a clogged drain at the pump. washers and dryers and there functions are not new to me I have repaired many. I am simply looking for direction. thanks
