1994 Nissan Axxess sport wagon! ?

The back struts have seized...can they be unseized or do I need new one? kind of curious why both would seize at the same time! Approximate cost to have them replaced including labour! would appreciate any feedbace whatsoever! thankyou! and Happy New Year!
