Mend Hotpoint Mistral Freezer Running

Hotpoint Mistral Frost-free fridge freezer condenser fan not running?

For several weeks now my fridge freezer has 'appeared' to go into defrost on too many occasions. I'm now convinced that it's not defrosting but in fact the compressor is tripping on HP. I checked the condenser fan (looking toward the back of the bottom section where the condenser coil is) and noticed that the fan at the back is not running. Does anyone know what I might need to check/do to get this to run?

If your fan is not running then your compressor is building pressure and cant get rid of the heat from the condensor and your compressor will trip.Try to clean the condensor unit and disconnet the motor and clean it proparly oil it on sharft holding the wing and test before you put it back nearby the condensor.connect a plug to the plug to test the motor if it doesnt start get a new motor.
