how can i fix heater in a vauxhall vectra?

i have checked the motor resistor,seems fine.cleared the pollen filter but the water drain was blocked. not sure if that has damaged something. how do i test the fan motor and could it be the relay and where do i find and test that? i can hear the click for setting 1 and 4 but just no fan
