Thanks will take it to garage tomorrow before it gets dark... I would know a fuse from a fiddle! I did check my brake fluid the other day and it is OK...

check fuse for headlights,for brake warning lamp check your brake pads aren`t worn and there is plenty brake fluid in the reservoir
