how to unblock washing machine from washing powder?

when i switch my washing machine on, the water which fills the detergent drawer dosent go into the drum it pours out all over my floor which makes me believe it is blocked with washing powder how do i unblock this please

take off the top of machine to expose the hoses,now unclip/unscrew the large hose where it attached to the bottom of soap draw,now unclip/unscrew the other end of hose where it attaches to the outer drum, clean out all the caked powder or even undissolved hard tablets ?then refit and tighten hose, run a fill with lid off to test for leaks if ok refit the lid top.
