Kenmore Model 116.35912401 Vacuum- Chris did you get this resolved???

Chris- below I copied and pasted your question. I am having the exact same problem with mine. Also it will make horrible loud sounds sometimes and it just won't pick up much of anything without it getting stuck. I have only had this vacuum a year and I HATE IT!!!!!!! Can anyone please help? btw- mine, too, is a bright yellow model.

How can I fix my Kenmore Model 116.35912401 Vaccum?

My vacuum sounds like it is working but it is not picking anything up. It is a beltless, bagless model. The rollers move (the carpet just rolls itself in it) but nothing gets sucks through to the see through canister. The vacuum is less than a year old.
I have been unable to find any information on line..most of the models are a different color, etc. Mine is bright yellow.
Any helpful information would be GREATLY appreciated.
