turning on?

I flip the power button and i dont get any power. and its not my power socket because it doesnt work any where. How do fix the on off switch?

ive brought a second hand polti 2300 steam cleaner, i plugged it in and only one of the two lights turned on, i waited about 20 mins and the water dont seem to get hot, could and would it be worth me getting it fixed?

have u checked the fuse. You dont say what appliance you on about. please be more specific. appliance model number ect.
