speedo pulse wire?

hi all i use my renault scenic as a taxi, at the moment my taxi meter is conected to the pulse wire on the back of the radio as i have a speed sensitive radio,but the last few days its been playing up the volume goes from load to loader by its self which in turn is effecting my meter.
dose anyone no what colour the pulse wire might be on the dash so could wire it stright to the speedo
