Daf XF95 enging error 71-8?

check the wiring to the temp sensor on the air intake just above the glow plug relay(has a rubber boot over the top) common fault on early engines(upec) problem caused by engine cover moving on it when cab tilted.

71-8 is an interruption in the glow relay G014 on Pin 10 of the ECU....G014 is the cylindrical looking solenoid with the 4 wires and the fuse above the pump units,,,could be broken wire,blown fuse and G014 at fault ..hope that helps
