Starting a Gilera runner vx 125?

Hello there my gilera runner vx 210 the starter relay keeps blowing ive changed it 3 times in the space of 4 days what would people think the problem is?

The battery is perfectly working well.
All the lights and dash work.
All the fuses are fine.. were so confused on what it might be if not ill just have to get a wire and start it off the battery to the starter motor

it could be the relay {bad connection} i had this problem with mine and it would make the clicking noise but the starter wouldnt turn the engine over and i discovered it was the starter relay it is behind the right hand rear panel as if you were sitting on it.

my gilera vxr 125 wont start sometmes when it does start runs fine jus wont have it sometimes ive checked spark the carb been cleaned dunno what up with it any one know what could be

I have read the answers put on here with interest and wonder is anyone can give me advice My daughter is having problems with her scooter starting, she has had the battery checked and told its ok, sometimes it will start other times its as if the battery is flat, she started it last night and it worked this morning after leaving it on trickle all night she said it made a noise as if it was going to start then she said it made a noise like a puff from the exhaust and wont start any suggestions, she has paid out loads lately on it

the same thing happened with me and i go a mechanic to check it and it was the starter motor look on gumtree.com or ebay and get a new starter motor

Mine seized today Couldnt evenm kick start the thing. Seized solid. Started with a funny rattling noise I thought was coming from the drive , but the performance started getting bad and then stopped at the traffic lights and it stalled . so I kick started and it went for a few secongs and stalled again , Went to start again and couldnt move it at all. That was its lot 18.000km Oil in it and everything. Im sure there is some sort of problem here with the auto mix so whack a load of oil straight in the fuel if I was you.

sell it and start again mate thats what my one did and it means it seased no joke take crank shaft off and try turn the fly wheel if it turns then its ok try it!!!!!!!!

i've had the same problem it sounds like the wiring is dirty just take off the starter relay and get a small file in the end and clean all the contact points

hi mate its your earth, make sure the earth on the engine side caseing is conected, get a meter and run a few tests??

do make sure the battery is not at fault if the battery is only giving out a certain ammount of current it will not be enough
to turn the starter motor try another battery to be certain even one from car any battery with enough amp hours will do
if this does not work then the soliniod may be at fault some soliniods are part of starter motor you may not be able to buy seperatly check manual regards max
