Mend Vauxhall Corsa Design Air Dead Problem

The heating, air con system in my corsa is dead?

I have a 54 plate corsa design, which has a problem with its heating, de-misting, aircon unit. The whole thing is dead, ive been told there is a cut off switch behind the dash but i cant seem to find it, does anyone have any suggestions on what else i can do before i have to take it to the garage?
