Mend Triton Opal Water Stopped Black

triton opal banged and water stopped?

I was having a shower today and suddenly there was a bang and the last of the water was black and the water stopped. Any ideas, do i need a new shower or can it be cheaply fixed??

I forgot to add that the power supply to the shower is fine, and when you switch the shower on now the water only comes out of the little plastic pipe at the bottom of the shower(overflow pipe??)
