Root Cyclone wand has no suction?

My Dyson Root Cyclone is working OK on my tiled floors and rugs, but the wand has no suction at all, have checked for holes and tears in the wand, and cleaned all the filters but nothing has helped. Would a new wand be the answer. Pauline King.
