Mend Hotpoint Dryer Started

Hotpoint TVM560?

Recently my tumble dryer developed a very annoying squeal which later started to sound like a grating or something grinding on the drum? More recently the drum is struggling to turn with a normal load inside until now only a couple of items in for the drum to actually turn do dryers have motor brushes similar to a washing machine or is there another problem
