how to change head gasket on Vauxhall Astra Merit with Isuzu 1700 diesel en?
The head gasket has gone on my Vauxhall Astra Merit. The engine is an Isuzu diesel 1700. What are the steps to disassemble the engine, replace the head gasket and reassemble?
That's really too big a question for this forum. However assuming that the engine is original get a Haynes manual. It will step you through the procedure with pictures.
