i have a fridge freezer and the fridge works fine but the freezer keeps freezing and defrosting it self i was woundering weather the gas bottle need refilling or if i need a new gas bottle plus its an american fridge freezer

If the gas has leaked you can NOT do this repair yourself. you will need a service engineer as they will have to break into the refrigeration system.
A hot fridge is normally caused by evaporator heater staying on. Is it a fridge freezer?
