How can I fix a washer LG WM2233HW flashes LE and will not spin ?

I called LG Customer Service Followed instructions will not spin or can not be spun manually. It's completely locked down. I was washing clothes and it quit with a Le flashing and beeping. I only use He detergent and I always clean the filter below and drain the hose too. Black dirt came out onto the clothes and all my clothes got messed up. I found a piece of a rubber gasket in the filter? I know the motor is covered 100% from LG for 7 years only labor has to be paid for a service man. Is there anything I can do to fix it on my own? I tried all the reset step pushing buttons and unplugging the washer with customer service and still will not move. Any help will be greatfull thank you. Plus I didn't know but you have to perform a tub cycle twice a month.
